At the completion of the ceremony, the graduate do the 'Memory Walk' - lead by the band.  At the end of the line (at the lower right corner of this image) they place their student cards in a box, which will then be buried in the walk, under a plaque for the 2005 class. A pipe band, featured in a Bellingham University graduation ceremony (kinda cool I think)
