This photo? Thanks to Tim Culbertson for this one: " The Notre Dame bagpipe band (which I sadly graduated from this past year) continues to make major strides each year. A bit over a decade ago, the band consisted of 3-4 people in khaki pants sharing one set of pipes. They're now at their largest ever, assembling 11-12 pipers and 7-8 drummers. The band is made up and managed entirely by college students and two professors, almost all of whom begin pipes with us. Last year was their first "true" parade - the Chicago South Side Irish parade. This year, they played for possibly their biggest captive audience yet - over 45,000 people mobbed the stadium for the ND-USC pep rally. This was the pipe band's first time on the football field and they were absolutely thrilled.
